At His feet

I always have this problem of shoulder pain whenever I'm stressed out or when I'm way too exhausted for many days. However, on this Tuesday, it was the worst pain I ever experienced. The pain was literally killing me. I had to leave class early to rest at home because of it. Still, I could hardly toss about on the bed because it was way too painful!! I weeped, worrying all over my studies, my conditions, my finals which are coming soon,....

Yes, I tried to pray. I prayed for His strength and His healing hands.

Nothing much happened. A verse suddenly popped out in my head.

Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom
-2 Corinthians 3:17-

A verse that a sister gave me a few days ago. How amazing this is!

Believe in the Lord. Believe that He will free us as long as we lay down our burdens and worries at His feet, at His cross.

The next day, the pain was still there but it was much better. I could go to class and continue my daily life. The pain was slowly ceasing and now I'm fully free from the pain. It was like thousand pounds of burdens being taken away.

Anything that will come at the end of the semester - finals, Econ homework, French exams (which I think I have phobia), etc. May I learn to lay all these down before Him and continue running hard, running faithful to Him with all the freedom He gives me. Just like this song. =)

I will run to You -Hillsong-
Your eye is on the sparrow
And Your hand, it comforts me
From the ends of the Earth to the depth of my heart
Let Your mercy and strength be seen

You call me to Your purpose
As angels understand
For Your glory, may You draw all men
As Your love and grace demand

And I will run to You
To Your words of truth
Not by might, not by power
But by the spirit of God
Yes I will run the race
'Till I see Your face
Oh let me live in the glory of Your grace
