Back to action

Sitting outside Espresson Royale in South Uni was always on my wishlist. Enjoying the blessing of sunshine, I managed to finish the assigned chapter of the book "Let the nations be glad" (which the summer mission team commit to read a chapter a week) The street was filled with the crowd once again. The merry laughter, lively conversation and footstep sound made the campus alive again!!!

Haha... Ya, I haven't blogged for months (I guess so ^.^) Yes, my blog is back!!!!

I was either too slumber to update or too lukewarm to share. However, I realize that it's good to have something to keep me in check from time to time, even something to jot down my thoughts and reflection.

The Bible verse of the week: (I name this because this verse has spoken to me)

Romans 12:9-15
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with god's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

This verse has put me in check with my heart nowadays which is overwhelmed by responsibilities and busyness.

Even today in ministry team, my leader reminded us once again the two commandments (Matthew 22:37-40) Love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. And love my neighbor as myself.

Loving others is so easy to forgo during this period of time. It's so easy for me to do things and forget the most important part - loving them at the same time. Having a heart to bless the people, not only merely pleasing people.

Even, the same thing applies to my relationship with God. "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep the spiritual fervor, serving the Lord" I always love this part of the lyric in the song "This is how we know" - Our love shall be the hand and feet that serve You in the world.
