This is love

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of  God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love

-1 John 4:7-8-

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

-1 John 4:10-

Our love always fails. Conditional, self-centered it is. Nothing can compare to this love that God has given us. We do not even love Him first, but He loved us first and sent His only son to die for us. From then, we are set free from the bondage of our sins - selfishness, pride, revengefulness, etc. Since then, we're able to love, we're able to forgive. Because "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have the confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him." -1 John 4:16b-17

Another thing worth to point out is

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

-1 John 4:18-

Hahahah.. Someone has been pointing out to me how weak I am to rebuke somebody when they're doing something unpleasing to God. Yup, I should be bold in confronting as there is no fear in love. Love them, rebuke them!!! :)))) In a loving way....
